People always tell me, “You don’t look sick!" I should hope not! I don't need to wear my sickness or the life struggles like a badge of honor. Now, I'm like you! I have my good days and my bad days!
While my illnesses and life are daily struggles, I refuse to let those struggles keep me down.
See, I dreamed about having fun. And then one day I started to dance. Just a little at first. And then a little more.
I realized that when I danced, I became alive and my physical pain was just not nearly as intense as doing nothing. When my mind wasn't focused on the pain, my heart began to mend.
And that’s when my dreams became my reality
